Theodore B. Oldak, “Ted” “Papa”, age 91, of Somerville, died peacefully on April 13, 2016. Ted was the beloved husband of the late Claire C. (Reardon) Oldak, devoted father of Diane C. Oldak of Somerville and Carol A. Coelho & husband Carlos of Billerica, loving “Papa” of Kristen M. and Brandon A. Coelho of Billerica. Cherished son of the late Bronislaw and Marie (Albowicz) Oldak, dear brother of the late Walter Oldak and Mary Michaels. Brother-in-law of Joan Oldak of Somerville, Paul and Paula Reardon of Lynn. Loving Uncle of Susan Oldak of Somerville, Nancy Stempler of Andover, and his “pal” the late Stephen Oldak.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Tuesday, April 19th for Visitation from 10:45-11:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Parish, 399 Medford St., Somerville, MA at 12:30 p.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorial donations in Theodore’s name may be made to a Cancer Charity of your choice. Ted was a U.S. Navy Veteran during WWII.

Kimberly Ann Strob

Kimberly Ann Strob, of Cocoa FL, formerly of Wilmington MA, passed away on April 2, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 47.

Kim was born on September 23, 1968, grew up in Wilmington MA, moved to Florida with her parents in 1980 and graduated from Cocoa High School in 1986.

Kim worked for Brevard County Animal Services for 11 years before becoming a Deputy Clerk for the Brevard County Clerk of Courts.

Kim was a fan of NASCAR, drag racing and a member of the Space Coast Street Rod Club. She was also an avid competitive dart and billiards player for the APA of Brevard County.

Kim was the dear daughter of Timothy E. Strob and the late Roberta A. Strob of Billerica, devoted and loving sister of Robin L. Strob of Naples FL, granddaughter of the late William and Olive Strob and the late James and Barbara Aylward, niece of Jack and Linda Strob, William and Pam Strob, the late Naomi Landry and her husband Ray, Joseph and Edie Strob, Ruth Ann Sampson and her late husband, Kenneth, and the late Barbara O’Brien and her husband Nick. Kim is also survived by her loving cousins Charlotte, Billy, Anthony, Eric, Jay and Brian Strob, Deanna Sampson Marzolini, Timmy and Eddy Sampson, Ginnie Paiva, Linda Sampson Bonney, Carl, Michael and Steven Abell, PH and Jesse O’Brien.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples FL, 34105, for giving Kim such loving care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

William M. “Billy” Temple, Jr.

William M. Temple, Jr. “Billy”, age 69, of Salem, NH, formerly of Wilmington, passed away on April 19, 2016. Born in Clinton, MA on May 20, 1946, Billy was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Parkhurst) Temple. Billy was raised in Wilmington and attended Wilmington public schools.

Billy was passionate about cooking, he spent most of his life as a chef. Billy worked at Merrimack College as a chef along with his father and brother Alan for many years. He enjoyed cooking for different organizations and had a knack for baking, especially cookies. In his spare time, Billy enjoyed watching all kinds of sports on TV and going to the track to watch horse racing.

Billy was the dear brother of Bernard Nally of Wilmington, Gary Temple & his former wife Linda of Manchester, NH and the late Alan Temple. Billy was the loving uncle of David Nally & his wife Ruth of Wakefield, Cynthia Leverone & her husband David of Rumney, NH, Heather Urban & her husband John of Chelmsford, Deanna Nally of Chelmsford, Patrick Nally & his wife Christine of Wilmington, Gary Temple, Jr. and Bryan Temple both of Manchester, NH and Tara Temple of California. He was the cousin of Evelyn Sanford of Greenfield, NH and Kevin McKelvey & his wife Millie of Burlington. Billy is also survived by many great-nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rt 62) Wilmington, on Monday, April 25th, for visiting hours from 10-11 a.m., immediately followed by a funeral home service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery. John F. Fahey, Sr.

John F. Fahey, Sr., age 77 (44), of Wilmington, formerly of Somerville, died peacefully at the Massachusetts General Hospital on April 18, 2016, with his loving family at his side.

John was born in Boston, MA on July 11, 1938; he was raised and educated in Somerville and a graduate of Somerville High School. Throughout the years John went on to further his education by taking courses at MIT and Harvard University. He was self-employed as a machinist for many years.

John married his “best friend” Annette Buonomo on June 17, 1956; the couple moved to Wilmington in 1962 where they raised three wonderful children Deborah, John Jr. and Susan. John loved his family unconditionally and they had many great times throughout the years. John especially cherished his role as “Papa” and treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren. John attended countless school and sporting events for his grandchildren, he enjoyed playing board games with them for hours; he was always so proud of their accomplishments.

John was known to be an avid fisherman and hunter in his day and liked to play a friendly game of racquetball every now and then. He was a member of the Tewksbury/Wilmington Lodge of Elks and a former member of the Sons of Italy.

John will be fondly remembered as a good guy, hardworking, and friendly; he was helpful and would do anything for anyone. John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John was the beloved husband of Annette J. (Buonomo) Fahey, devoted father of Deborah L. Duggan & husband Thomas, Jr., John F. Fahey, Jr. & wife April all of Wilmington, and Susan M. Ganley & husband Robert of Burlington. Loving “Papa” of Thomas III & Nicholas Duggan, Shawn, Zachary, & Amy Fahey, Robert Jr., Michael, Kenneth, & Gina Ganley, and Dianna Fahey, great-granddaughter Fiona Duggan and her sister Lily. Dear son of the late Leo and Mildred (Barber) Fahey, brother of Robert Fahey and Eileen Fahey both of Billerica, Joseph Fahey and Francis Fahey both of Somerville, the late Leo, William, and Edward Fahey, and Marie Walsh. John was the special uncle of Daniel Fahey & wife Marie of Abington and is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Benedict P. “Ben” McGann

Benedict P. McGann “Ben”, age 86 of Atkinson, NH, formerly of Waltham, MA, died unexpectedly on April 15, 2016, at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Ben was born in Boston, MA on April 27, 1929; he was the dear son of the late Benedict and Nora (Malloy) McGann, Ben was raised and educated in Waltham and a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. Ben went on to further his education earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.

Ben enlisted in the United States Coast Guard on July 22, 1948 honorably serving the Country during World War II; he was honorably discharged in July of 1951 returning home to his family in Waltham.

Ben went to work for the Raytheon Company in Lowell as an Engineer and was quick to learn the ropes. Ben’s work ethic was second to none and his desire to learn was incredible; he made many friends at work throughout the years. Ben worked closely with his Japanese counterparts to develop the Japanese Missals Systems; he was always proud of working with others and all that they accomplished.

Ben married his “sweetheart” Jean Bousfield in October of 1975 and became an instant “dad” to three teenagers; a role that he eagerly took on and was quite a success at. Family was everything to Ben, he was a wonderful husband, father, son, and brother; he cherished his role as “Grampy” and he beamed with pride whenever he spoke of his grandchildren. Ben was also very close to his nieces and nephews and often thought of himself as a “second parent” to them. Ben always enjoyed getting together with family, celebrating the holidays, and was always the first to give a toast at every occasion.

Throughout the years, Ben, enjoyed traveling with family and friends; he made treks all over Europe and Asia and was known to visit almost all of the United States Ben loved to see new places, cultures, and meet new people; his endearing personality made it easy for him to “fit in” where ever he went.

In his spare time Ben liked to follow sports especially the Red Sox and Patriots or he could be found relaxing in his chair with a Manhattan watching C-Span television and following the Senate and brushing up on his Politics. Ben was an avid golfer who loved to try out new courses and relished in a little friendly competition every now and then.

Ben will be fondly remembered as a wonderful man always very kind, compassionate, generous, and loyal. There wasn’t anything that Ben wouldn’t do for his family and friends. Ben was quite a gentleman and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ben was the beloved husband of Jean E. (Bousfield) McGann, devoted father of Linda J. Ouellette & husband Joseph of Atkinson, NH, Robert P. Traer & Wife Jennifer of Salem, NH, and Cathy D. Martel & husband Ken of Lowell, MA. Loving “Grampy” of Joseph L. III and Lindsey M. Ouellette, Mitchel R. and Garrett E. Traer, Ryan S. Stetzler, Anthony J. Bellandi, Jessie G. Martel, and great-granddaughter Gemma G. Stetzler. Cherished son of the late Benedict and Nora (Malloy) McGann, dear brother of Agnes Mannix of Watertown, the late Martin McGann, Peter “Champ” McGann and Marie Spaulding. Special Uncle of Noreen Gaspar, Albert Mannix, Brian Mannix, Kevin Mannix, Shawn Mannix, Patricia Metcalfe, Eileen McHugh, John Spaulding, and their families.

Family and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 133 School St., Waltham, MA. Richard L. Desjardins

Richard L. Desjardins, age 70, of Wilmington, formerly of Salem and Peabody passed away on April 20th, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Peabody on April 11th, 1946, Richard (Dick, Dickie, DJ) was the son of the late Roger and Annette (Bonsant) Desjardins. He grew up in Salem and was part of the first graduating class of Bishop Fenwick High School in 1964. After high school, Richard enlisted in the Navy Reserves but an injury forced his discharge before he could serve our country.

In October of 1966, Richard married the love of his life, Patricia. The couple resided in the Salem Willows neighborhood and raised their two daughters, Cynthia and Deborah, there. After 35 years in Salem, Dick and Pat moved to Peabody where they spent 11 years before recently moving to Wilmington.

Dick was a real outdoors kind of guy. When he was a kid, Dick was part of the Boy Scouts where he gained an appreciation for nature. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dick enjoyed spending time at his “home away from home”, the Danvers Fish and Game Club, serving as their president in 1981. Dick also loved gardening, cooking and model trains, as well as Boston sports. He especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports and perform on stage.

Dick was a true family man. He worked hard to provide for his family. Dick worked at North Shore Disposal, a company owned by his father. Several years later Dick started Desjardins Disposal. He later worked for Waste Management as a truck driver until suffering 5 strokes in 2004. Dick would do anything for his family. He served as a Girl Scouts Leader for his daughter Cindy’s troop when nobody else would volunteer. Dick also held office in the Salem High Music Boosters while Debby was in the high school band. He lived for his family and friends, as well as his dogs, Zephyr (whose ashes will be buried with him) and Pippy, who misses her Daddy terribly. Dick was a good-hearted and loyal person who will be sorely missed by those who knew him.

Dick was the beloved husband of Patricia L. (Lavender) Desjardins. He was the devoted father of Cynthia Stratouly & her husband Donn of Wilmington and Deborah Alter & her husband Edward of North Reading. Dick was the loving grandfather of Stephanie Perez & her husband Ernesto, Jonathan Stratouly, Gregory Stratouly, Nicholas Stratouly, Madelyn Alter and Cameron Alter. He leaves behind his great-grandchildren Jaylen and Sofia Perez. He was the dear brother of Carol Rourke & her husband James of Middleton. Dick is also survived by his nephews, Christopher Rourke and Erik Rourke & his wife Colleen.

Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA on April 25th at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. John C. Biondo

John C. Biondo, “Johnny B” age 51, of Dracut, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, died unexpectedly on April 24, 2016, at the Lowell General Hospital.

John was raised and educated in Wilmington and a graduate of Austin Prep High School in Reading with the Class of 1983.

John worked as a Global Network Service Delivery Manager at Raytheon where he was employed for more than 30 years.

In his spare time, John loved his cars and riding his Harley with his buddies. He was quite the host when it came to his Daytona 500 parties and a good time was had by all.

John enjoyed the outdoors; ice fishing, riding his skimobile, and his many Summers spent at Country Pond Campground in New Hampshire with family and friends.

John will be fondly remembered as dependable, helpful, and a true friend. He loved his family unconditionally and could always be counted on to do anything for anyone. John was kind, caring, friendly and fun; he will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

John was the cherished son of Charles R. and Noreen T. (Skehill) Biondo, dear brother of Julie M. Pozzi & husband Chris and the late Joseph C. Biondo, loving uncle of Jonathan and Heather Pozzi all of Wilmington. Devoted companion of Carolyn Callahan and her children Caitlin & D. J. all of Dracut. John is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Stanley J. Koczen, age 72, of Wilmington, died unexpectedly on April 21, 2016.  

Stanley was the beloved husband of the late Cynthia A. (Bishop) Koczen, devoted father of Debra A. Goldberg & husband Russell of North Reading, Stanley E. Koczen of Wilmington, and Jennifer L. DiPerri & husband Jeffrey of Tewksbury.  Loving grandfather of Jeremy, Lindsy, & Carly Goldberg and Nicholas DiPerri.  Cherished son of the late Stanley P. and Helen (Hac) Koczen, brother of the late Helen Wolaszek, son-in-law of Chesley and Phyllis Bishop of Newfoundland.  Stanley is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family in Newfoundland.

Robert T. Pierce

Robert T. Pierce,“Bob” age 58 of Wilmington, formerly of Cambridge, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on April 25, 2016, following a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Bob was born on September 25, 1965, in Cambridge, MA; he was the cherished son of the Joan M. (Dupont) and the late Clyde A. Pierce. Bob was raised and educated in Cambridge and a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin High School with the Class of 1975.

Bob married his “sweetheart” Patty McMahon in April of 1985; just celebrating their 31st wedding anniversary. Bob and Patty shared many great times together over the years with their family and friends. The couple moved to Wilmington in 1991 where they raised two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Collette; Bob loved being a dad and he was always so proud of his girls.

Bob worked hard for his family in the construction business. His great personality and work ethic landed him countless jobs in the carpentry field. Bob worked all over the area roofing, building decks and porches, installing windows just to name a few areas; he was very loyal and friendly to his customers and he built a great reputation throughout the years.

In his spare time Bob enjoyed golfing, watching sports, and taking to the open road on his Harley with his buddies.

Bob treasured the time spent with family and friends; his love for them was evident in everything he did. Bob was dependable, loyal, and kind; he was a fighter who never gave up hope as his illness progressed. Bob was truly an amazing man who was dearly loved and will forever be missed.

Bob was the beloved husband of Patricia “Patty” (McMahon) Pierce, devoted father of Rachel P. and Collette M. Pierce all of Wilmington, cherished son of Joan M. (Dupont) Pierce and the late Clyde A. Pierce of Cambridge, dear brother of Sheryl Callahan & husband Robert of No. Carolina. Uncle of Caroline Callahan, Kerry & Christopher Fanning, and Andrew McMahon, nephew of Carolyn Cabral of Somerville and George Dupont of Texas, cousin of Michael Cabral, Richard Cabral, and Sharon Capasso. Brother-in-law of James & the late Susan McMahon and Leonard & Mary Ellen McMahon all of West Roxbury and Catherine & James Fanning of Saugus. Bob is also survived by many dear friends.

Robyn L. Nadeau-Flynn (Evans), age 60, of Tewksbury, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, died peacefully on May 4, 2016. Robyn was the devoted mother of Michael Nadeau & wife Kristine and Melissa Moreira & husband Steven all of Billerica and Kimberly Nadeau of Tewksbury. Loving Grandmother of Emilie, Lilianna, & Michael Nadeau Jr., Aubrey, Haylee, Ava, & Landon Moreira, and Kylie Guida. Cherished daughter of the late Everett and Marjorie (Blood) Evans. Robyn is also survived by her partner Brian Hurley of Tewksbury, her former husband Gerald Nadeau of Falmouth, as well as many dear friends.

Ellen (Casey) Bassett

Ellen A. Bassett (Casey), age 42, of North Reading, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, died unexpectedly on May 7, 2016, while on vacation in Aruba.

Ellen was born on November 20, 1973, in Winchester, MA; she was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Alice Casey. Ellen was raised in Wilmington and a graduate of Wilmington High School with the Class of 1991.

Ellen married her beloved husband and best friend, Charles “C.J.” Bassett and the couple shared many special times throughout the years with family and friends. Ellen and C.J. became parents with the birth of their son Ryan and their world became even more enriched; Ryan was the center of their world and Ellen cherished being a “mom”. Ellen was not only a devoted wife and mother but also a wonderful homemaker; her door was always open to family and friends and she truly enjoyed being a “caretaker” to anyone who needed some extra love in their life.

Ellen was known to be an “adventurer”; she loved to travel to new places and meet new people; she was always very friendly and kind to everyone. Ellen’s travels took her near and far; some of her special places included Newburyport, Rockport, Bar Harbor, Wells Maine, Ireland and Aruba, she loved to walk along the ocean and enjoy the shoreline. Always a kid at heart, Ellen also looked forward to the Disney World trips with her family and friends; these were some great vacations that will be treasured for years to come.

Ellen will be fondly remembered for her love of children; she was a wonderful “Auntie” to her nieces and nephews as well as her friend’s children. Ellen enjoyed the innocence of children and she always showered them with unconditional love. Ellen loved her family and friends with all her heart; she was kind, caring, dependable, and would do anything for them.

Ellen will forever be in the hearts and minds of all that knew and loved her.

Ellen was the beloved wife of Charles J. Bassett, devoted mother of Ryan C. Bassett and his girlfriend Mia Griffin all of North Reading, cherished daughter of Joseph P. and Alice J. (Hudson) Casey of Wilmington, dear sister of Patrick Casey of North Andover, Cheryl Welch & husband Brad of North Reading, Joseph Casey and his fiancé Mary Adcock of Columbus, OH, and Sean Casey & wife Christine of Wilmington. Loving Aunt of Nicole, Brad, & Andrew Welch and MacKenzie, Sadie, and the late Madison Casey. Daughter-in-law of Charles and Joyce Bassett, sister-in-law of Craig Bassett all of Lynn. Ellen is also survived by Alyssa and Lillian Murphy with whom she shared a special relationship as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends .

Wayne K. Wallace

Wayne K. Wallace, age 60, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Fort Devens, MA and Manchester, NH, died peacefully on April 10, 2016, following a bout of pneumonia.

Wayne was born in Boston, MA on September 2; he was the dear son of the late Joseph and Mary A. (McKenzie) Wallace. Wayne was raised in Somerville, MA, where he attended St. Benedict’s Little Flower School and went on to continue his education at the Somerville Trade High School.

Wayne served in the United States Army and was a member of Post 388 in Somerville. In his early thirties, Wayne moved to Fort Devens, MA where he met Anne McCloud Wallace, his long-time companion.

Wayne loved to play softball with his family and friends; for many years they played at Glen Park and on the Post 388 softball team.

Wayne and Anne moved to Manchester, NH, where Wayne started working in the construction field rehabbing and flipping houses. Wayne enjoyed what he did and became quite good at installing new heating and ventilations systems in various properties. Wayne and Anne had many great times together through the years before she became ill with cancer and passed away.

While in Manchester, Wayne also tried his hand in investing in the bar and restaurant business; this is where he met Bernice “Bunny” Douglas. Wayne and Bunny became very close and the couple moved to Port Charlotte, Florida several years ago.

Wayne leaves behind two children, his dearest daughter Stacey Wallace of Manchester N.H. and his son Kenny. He is grandfather to Joseph, James, and Nicole. He also leaves his beloved Companion Bernice “Bunny” Douglas of Port Charlotte, FL, he was the dear brother of Cheryl Diabo, Caroline Weilcher, and John Wallace all of Manchester, NH, and William Wallace & wife Teresa of Wilmington. Wayne is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was pre-deceased by a long-time friend Anne McCloud Wallace.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Saturday, May 21st for Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. immediately followed by a Service at 12:30 p.m.

Marilyn D. (Brown) Deschenes

Marilyn D. Deschenes, age 82, of Wilmington, died peacefully on May 12, 2016 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.

Marilyn was born on May 16, 1933, in Andover, MA; she was the dear daughter of the late Herbert and Marion (Wormwood) Brown.

Marilyn was the beloved wife of Edmund Deschenes with whom she just celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on April 21, 2016. Marilyn was the beloved mother of Donald Deschenes of Manchester, NH, David Deschenes & wife Carolyn of Wilmington, MA, Diann Anastas & husband Robert of Nashua, NH, Daniel Deschenes of Wilmington, MA, William Deschenes & wife Deborah of Wrentham, MA, and the late Doreen Lazdowski, she was the loving Grandmother of 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. Marilyn is also survived by her son-in-law Kenneth Lazdowski of Hudson, NH, her brother-in-law Gene Deschenes and his wife Joyce Rinaldi of Burlington, MA. Marilyn was the dear sister of the late Shirley Brown and Bert Brown, and daughter-in-law of the late Edward and Diana (Ouellette) Deschenes.

Marilyn was a long-time resident of Wilmington where her doors were always open for the many foster children she welcomed into her home. Whether it was a long-term foster child or for many others an emergency situation, Marilyn showered them with love and kindness. Marilyn was also a day care provider for countless families throughout the years.

In her spare time, Marilyn enjoyed sewing, crocheting, needlework, and ceramics. She was also known to have a thirst for knowledge and was an AVID reader.

Marilyn was a woman of great faith and a long-time Parishioner of the Wilmington United Methodist Church.

At her request Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Marilyn’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, the VNA of Middlesex East and Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 607 North Ave., Wakefield, MA 01880, or to a Charity of Your Choice.

Kim was the beloved wife of Al Griffin, devoted mother of Kelly V., Hannah H., Connor J. M., and Daniel Q. Griffin all of Wilmington. Cherished daughter of John A. and Helen F. (McCabe) Engdahl of Wilmington, dear sister of Robin R. Smyth & husband Richard of Inverness, FL, Ernie A. Golisano of York, ME, John T. Engdahl of Narragansett, RI, and Erik A. Engdahl & wife Megan of Chandler, AZ. Daughter-in-law of Maureen Duverger of Keene, NH. Kim is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Fred was the devoted father of Michael Ingersoll & wife Brenda of Tewksbury, Robin Enriquez of San Antonio, TX, and Bonnie Kelliher & husband Jimmy of Walpole, Beloved long-time companion of Carol McEleney of Woburn. Loving “Papa” of Caryssa Ingersoll, Derek, Devon, & Liam Kelliher, “Bart” of Jenna & Madison McEleney the grandchildren that grew in his heart. Cherished son of the late Fred and Esther (Wooding) Ingersoll and beloved husband of the late Betty Ann (Lohnes) Ingersoll, dear brother of Judith Milliken & her late husband James of Billerica, Daniel Ingersoll of Tewksbury, and the late James Ingersoll. Fred was also very special to Chris and Kelly McEleney of Woburn and is further survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Timothy M. Brady

Timothy M. Brady, 28, a life-long resident of Wilmington, MA, passed away at his house on Sunday, May 15th, 2016 after a long battle with drug addiction.

Tim was born in Melrose, MA; on April 25, 1988; he was the cherished son of Mark and Patricia (Lomatire) Brady. Tim was raised and educated in Wilmington and involved in youth sports throughout his childhood. Tim loved playing Little League Baseball, Wilmington Pop Warner, and Wildcat Football at Wilmington High School.

Tim was a die-hard Boston sports fan who will always be remembered for his sense of humor and strong love for his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his parents, Mark and Patricia Brady, of Wilmington, MA and his brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Stephanie Brady of Asbury Park, NJ. He is also lucky enough to be survived by a strong and loving family of many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and members of the fellowship.

Robert W. MacKenzie “Bob”, age 67, of Lowell, formerly of Wilmington, died peacefully on May 18, 2016, in Wingate at Belvidere. Bob was born in Lowell on November 18, 1948; he was the dear son of the late Gordon & Harriet (Brown) MacKenzie.

Bob was raised and educated in Wilmington and he worked in the Wilmington Schools for several years. Bob also worked at the Caswell Motel in Tewksbury for more than 30 years.

Bob will be remembered as a quiet guy who kept to himself but he loved sports, horse racing, and going to Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.

Bob was the brother of Thomas and George MacKenzie both of Wilmington, Ted MacKenzie of Salem, NH, Betty Hogan and Jeanie MacKenzie both of California, the late Gordon MacKenzie, Roy MacKenzie, Dotty Paggi and Barbara Ahern. Bob is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

James Matthew Rooney, age 12, of Wilmington, died accidentally, on May 27, 2016.

James was born on June 18, 2003 in Boston, MA; he was the cherished son of Dennis P. and Jacqueline (O’Hara) Rooney. James was raised in Wilmington and was a 7th grade student at the Wilmington Middle School.

James was a very bright kid; he was a wonderful math student and had a special interest in History, especially Military History. James was always willing to help others in the classroom, he was very friendly and funny according to his classmates.

James was very patriotic and loved to wear his camouflage uniform; he was very proud of his father Dennis and brother Steven’s service to our Country and the Marine Corps.

James loved to go to the Reading YMCA on Friday nights where he would meet his friends to swim, play basketball or to workout. James also enjoyed Fencing.

James will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. James always lit up a room with his great smile; he was a wonderful boy who will forever be missed by his family and friends.

James was the cherished son of Dennis P. and Jacqueline (O’Hara) Rooney, beloved brother of Dennis P. Rooney III, Cullen S. Rooney, and the late Lance Cpl. Steven M. West all of Wilmington. Loving grandson of Dennis and Yvette Rooney of Wilmington and Patricia O’Hara of Billerica. Dear nephew of James and Caroline O’Hara of Boston and John O’Hara of Billerica. Cousin of Jack O’Hara of Haverhill. James is also survived by a large extended family of great aunts and uncles, cousins, as well as many friends.
