Cheryl (Dey) Ring, age 70, of Wilmington, was called “safely home” on September 13th surrounded by her loving family.
Cheryl was born on April 17, 1946 and was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Dey. She graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School.
She is survived by her loving, dedicated husband of 49 years. John “Stew” Ring, two daughters Debbie Buendo and her husband Dan of East Longmeadow, Cindy Drislane and her husband Matt of West Newbury, a son John Ring and his wife Sandra of Shelton, CT. Cheryl also leaves her stepmother Joan Dey of Tewksbury, three sisters Joan Ryan of Tewksbury, Jeanie Snook of Atkinson, NH, Eileen Tufts of Nashua, NH and a brother in law James Ring of Wilmington, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren Alexandra, Nicholas, Rachael, Amanda, Katie, Grace, Madyson and Hannah who were the joys of her life.
Cheryl dedicated herself to caring and raising her family; they were her world. Prior to her illness, she loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends and enjoyed traveling with her husband and her family especially on their many trips to Disney World.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Saturday, September 17th at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, September 16th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
