Edna Grace Phillips (Day), age 95, of Wilmington, died peacefully on July 28, 2016. Edna was the beloved wife of the late George Phillips, devoted mother of George Phillips & wife Joan, Susan Keating & husband Jack, and Brian Phillips all of Wilmington, Barry Phillips & wife Beverly of Derry, NH. Loving Grandmother of George Phillips Jr., Maryanna Larrabee, Gregory Phillips, Michelle Phillips, Katie Keating, Dan Keating, Ryan Phillips, Alicia Phillips, and Great-Grandchildren Ariana, Evan, Ayla, Grant, Landon, Olivia, and Evie. Cherished daughter of the late William and Mary (McDonald) Day, dear sister of Leona King of Maine, the late Gordon Day and Dottie Fleischer. Edna is also survived by her beloved cat Charlie.
Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Monday, August 1st from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Edna’s Funeral Service will be held at the Community Baptist Church, 470 Fulton St., Medford on Tuesday, August 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
