Fred L. Ingersoll, age 78, of Wilmington, died peacefully on May 14, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
Fred was the devoted father of Michael Ingersoll & wife Brenda of Tewksbury, Robin Enriquez of San Antonio, TX, and Bonnie Kelliher & husband Jimmy of Walpole, Beloved long-time companion of Carol McEleney of Woburn. Loving “Papa” of Caryssa Ingersoll, Derek, Devon, & Liam Kelliher, “Bart” of Jenna & Madison McEleney the grandchildren that grew in his heart. Cherished son of the late Fred and Esther (Wooding) Ingersoll and beloved husband of the late Betty Ann (Lohnes) Ingersoll, dear brother of Judith Milliken & her late husband James of Billerica, Daniel Ingersoll of Tewksbury, and the late James Ingersoll. Fred was also very special to Chris and Kelly McEleney of Woburn and is further survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 18th at 11:00 a.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
